Chuck I don't really know, I guess it would depend how many amps the AC unit would pull o start up. I would think it would if with everything else in your electrical panel was turned off and left off. I would also turn the ac unit down to 68 or less so that it does not cycle on/off. I'm not a electrician or ac technecian this is only my opinion. hope this helps.
We're looking at one of these lately- The costs are All-Over the place for 11KW - As far as the wagon, why did you have one custom built when you could have bought a flat gorilla wagon? Are you happy with this generator? where did you purchase that is trusted site?

I purchased one for my food trailer and would not recommend. Most events make us run quiet generators and this unit is too loud. It says its less than 65db however we tested it and are getting about 75db at 25 feet. We have been having to rent a 20kw towable generator from Sunbelt Rentals and they are super quiet. Im trying to sell my GL unit now
I wonder if it will overheat if I swapped my onan 5.5kw gas generator out under my 5th wheel rv. My onan is aircooled so I think it would probably do fine. This would run everything in my rv and still get better fuel economy then the onan

My first thought was damn that's a very loud generator for being a diesel. But I then read the part where he said it's running at 3600rpm which explains the noise. But at that rate, I would never buy something like that unless it was an 1800rpm unit instead of 3600rpm. There's a huge difference in sound between the two. Of course that says nothing about how much longer an 1800rpm generator will last vs a 3600 rpm unit.

I had it built in Miami, FL by a company called PEMCO, the link is below. I can't find the drawings/sketches I used but I think I just used the size of the generator adding an additional a total of 2" to the length and width and used the forklift lifting points on the generator with the existing holes for mounting. I have the 7k model and it's awesome, we used it for 5 straight months from 7 pm to 8 am and it runs everything in hour house during hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
I personally prefer the lower rpm setup
Too loud for residential use. Much better options out there. Check into 1800 rmp generators. They are available in that size range.

If you guys want 1800 rpm the you gotta move up to big boy cummins and thats expensive depending on how it comes. But a 30kw is 10k$

Thank you for the video. Isolating with rubber mounts instead of bolting directly to the wagon will lesson the noise considerably.

I have one a they are very noisy
20a a leg is less than 40% capacity. Diesels really like 70-100%. Your over sized.
Can you tell me if you still have the same generator in 2020 and any issues with it?

Running the ac how often to u fill up
I never had to run it other than exercising it a couple hours a month. We haven't had a storm since I got it. I think around 8-10 hours
